The lowdown on Farmer's Markets in Spokane/Coeur d' Alene.

Whether you're visiting Spokane, or a full time resident, I will always suggest hitting up one of our local Farmer's Markets! Who would want to pass up locally grown produce, a lot of the time organic, homemade goods, and awesome local eats?! Not me!! I am a sucker for a good market, or street fair. There really is something powerful about putting your money where your mouth is, and knowing it's in the hands of ethical local farmers, makes for a win win situation in my book. Sourcing food and products locally not only boosts our local economy, but the nutrients in that food isn't traveling several hundred miles if not thousands, losing a bunch of nutrients along the way, going through middle man after middle man before it reaches our mouth. Supporting our local farmers and buying at the source doesn't just help them out, but your body is kindly thanking you as well!

With that being said, and a couple weeks left to visit some of these, here's a list of the BEST farmer's markets to hit up in the Spokane/Coeur d' Alene area!
